Have You Taken a Road Trip?

Hi, I’m Preah. I’m from Belize. I am an ESL teacher. My question was, have you ever taken a road trip before? I have taken many road trips before, and actually two weeks ago, on the 7th of October, my family and I, we took an eight-hour road trip to Cancun, Mexico. We stopped at a lot of shabby gas stations. We met a lot of amazing and friendly people. Even at the border, we ate some delicious Mexican tacos and tortas, and we had an amazing time in Cancun as well. On our way back, we were actually blocked on the road by two animals: an alligator and a tapir, which is my country’s national animal. So, it was very fascinating to see that. There was a lot of sightseeing to do. We saw different amusement parks on the way. We stopped in Tulum, Playa del Carmen, as well as Bacalar. All in all, it was a wonderful trip.
