When to use each
| Type | Position | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Subject pronoun | BEFORE the verb (= the doer) | She loves music. They are my friends. |
| Object pronoun | AFTER the verb or preposition (= the receiver) | I love her. Come with us. Call him later. |
Common mistake:
✗ "Me and John went to the cinema." → ✓ "John and I went to the cinema." (subject position). ✗ "between you and I" → ✓ "between you and me" (after a preposition = object).
